A very sneaky peek of what I've been up to this week. That cabinet is finally done (hurrah!), still need to find the perfect knobs for it (as you can see). I played around with arranging things inside, and had a bit too much fun with it. Then I started to notice things were sticking ever-so-slightly. So everything came off and I'm giving it another night to dry. I finished 2 days ago, but it really takes so long to cure. If my cousin wasn't coming into town tomorrow, I'd probably let it dry a few more days. But I'm really happy with how it's turned out! Tomorrow it will be Christmas-ified with our holiday village right there on top. I even bought a sheet of "fake snow" from Target.
The good news? I love my kitchen. This is a profound thing. I've hated our kitchen for years, years, years. It's been such an eye sore. It's finally looking pretty!
More to come next week, including holiday decorations. Despite how my photos look, it's very Christmasy around here. I'll also share how I made that vertical record storage in our living room. That one's been on my brain for a few months now and I finally found the time to put it together. It was surprisingly easy! I love how it turned out. I'm all for vertical storage in this teeny-tiny house of ours.
Off to bed I go. I'm exhausted. Here's hoping for a good night's sleep. Campbell has had a chronic cough for the past couple days and the nights are rough! Hoping he feels better soon. There's nothing more exhausting than a nagging cough. I worry about my little guy!
Happy Weekend to you!
