1. Already purchased this Crewel Embroidery Kit from Alicia Paulson (they are sold out... wow!). I love that she chose crewel yarn for this kit and the colors are right up my alley. The designs feel very 60's inspired to me.. and I adore the olive-y color of the linen she chose to embroider on. Alicia is one of the very first indie artists/designers I ever followed online and she still remains someone that I admire in the biggest sense. She stays true to herself and everything about her blog, is HER. Blogs (creative and design-oriented) feel so scattered to me at times these days, trying to be EVERYTHING all within one blog - it's nice to follow an artist that blogs pretty much ALL of her own content. No sponsors. Everything is about her, her life, her creativity.. and that is why people keep going back.
She is awesome. (end blathering!)
2. Friendship Bracelets! I bought thread to make some of these, like 6 months ago. Maybe longer. I've been wanting to make some of these for the longest time! I used to make them constantly as a pre-teen. Honestly, I don't remember how to make them. (ha) But I found out that there are TONS of bracelet patterns online! It's like a whole world dedicated to these things. What I wouldn't have given for something like that back in the 80's. ; ) (photos of bracelets: 1, 2)
I also want to make some on a bead loom. I bought a loom today at Joann for like 7 bucks! Never made any on a bead loom but they look gorgeous.
Both methods look pretty time consuming but I expect to have quite a bit of free time this summer due to vacations, plane rides and hospital waiting (Campbell gets this tonsils/adenoids out on Monday. But we found out he has strep. Today. Yeh.)
I have an idea for a digital kit for these bracelets. : )
3. I found those amazing vintage patterns for dollhouse sized micro-macrame. Seriously, look at the plant hangers! That OWL. Can't wait to make those for my dollhouse. Buying supplies is part of the fun for me.. I'll be picking up one of those macrame boards and cord in pretty colors.
4. I came up with an idea for a dollhouse accessory of my own a few weeks ago. I hope to get to this tutorial this weekend/next week. If my children will just stop getting sick or going to the ER, maybe I can get something done. ; ) Tutorial coming soon.
5. Of course the shortalls for Cam. I'm all set with some fusible web and fabrics for the applique. Excited about that one. (and glad I don't have to actually SEW the outfit. Thanks Madeline!)
6. Vintage Patch Projects! I found those patches on Etsy vintage for just a buck or two a piece. I have ideas for embellishing Campbell's jeans (and maybe mine!) Such an easy way to make a boring pair of jeans much more cute. I also bought some blank denim patches at Joann today.. I have some embroidery ideas for those.. possibly a new embroidery pattern from me. (It's only been like over a year since I designed one. Gah.)
As you can see, this is a lofty list. Maybe I've gotten cocky since I actually finished a project. Cockyness may have ensued.
But I think it's healthy to have dream craft lists. I'm super excited about this summer and actually feeling positive hopeful that I might check all of these off my list.
Do you have any summer crafts planned?
Please link me up in the comments section if you do! : )
Happy Weekend!

I want your project list, and I'm just going to ditch mine.
i didn't want to make a pinafore or conquer smocking, anyway. (ok. I really do. That's on my list this summer. And to make some accessories for my fab paper dolls from http://www.minimepaperdolls.com/ )
...and to perfect my lemonade recipe.
