One of my sweet readers, Ngaire, sent me (all the way from Australia) some gorgeous vintage wrapping paper, and I couldn't be more in love with them.
This one is definitely my favorite. I wish I could be hanging out with these girls in their perfectly autumnal hued outfits and stripey knee socks. We could be best friends for sure.
And some more cutie-pie paper...
Thank-you Ngaire for your thoughtfulness! Ngaire is a pretty amazing artist in her own right.. check out her exquisite embroidery! Her stitches are perfect. Not sure if she used a vintage kit or came up with her own design based on this vintage pattern, but this one's kind of gorgeous. : )
And on a random note, I've been a huge fan of Pop Ink and French Paper for years now, but I didn't realize until perusing my gal pal Karli's blog that they sell posters of their designs, too! They are kind of amazing and steal my color-and-retro-lovin' heart!
I've been in love with this pattern for years now and actually bought the design in wrapping paper to use in my dollhouse project (so excited about this). I LOVE it in their poster format!
I need to update the boys' playroom.. these posters would look pretty awesome in there. Love.
These two gals make my heart go pitter-patter. They of course remind me of the big-eyed art from the 60's.
I'll be back later today with some Halloween decor that I'm putting up today. Very excited to make this place more festive for Halloween (which is gaining on us very fast!)
