dreaming big

Gosh, I feel almost a little too nervous and giddy-silly putting this out there (might be the sleep-deprivation, too). But I couldn't keep it to myself any longer. I was going to wait til I had a chance to work on my website and flesh it out a bit more, but September is proving to be a cray-zay month (I think you all can probably identify with that?) in so many ways, that I knew if I sat on this for another month, what a sad thing that would be.

So, above is the new Kitschy Digitals identity/logo/illustration.. whatever you might want to call it. What I would call it is a *perfect* representation of what Kitschy Digitals has always been for me. It is better than I ever could've imagined.

And before you go all "You are awesome Danielle! You are such a fabulous designer!"... wait...... Don't speak.

I must tell you that it wasn't *I* who created this bit of fabulousness, but the aforementioned Pilgrim from my last post. She's one talented lady, don't you think?

I owe Miss Alex over at Modern Kiddo for introducing me to Pilgrim. Mostly because I've gained one sweet friend in this deal!

This *sweet* logo is just the beginning. I'm working on my website and I'm dreaming of lots of new things for the future of Kitschy Digitals. I hope that over the next few months, I can share more with you. Honestly, I always hate it when people are cryptic like that, but fun things are in store and I promise to share once I can! You'll probably start to see this new "identity" creep up here and there in the near future as I slooowly finish things.

It feels good to dream. I have Ethan and a couple really good friends to thank for giving me that extra nudge to dream bigger. It is so exciting to actually be acting on ideas I've had for a long time. Scary, but exciting. It will be a learning process. Everything is in the baby stages, but baby steps I can handle.

So, aside for all of that sentimental gooey talk... what do you think about the Kitschy Girls? I need to name them. I will have to do a giveaway soon where you can suggest names and I'll giveaway something awesome to what names I end up picking. That would be fun!
