One of my sponsors, JoTotes, has just released some new camera bag styles that I wanted to share with you! If you're a photography enthusiast like me, you'll understand the frustration we all feel about *ugly camera bags*. I've been through many a camera bag, but really haven't ever found anything I'm in love with.
But there are lots of people out there finally creating new camera bag styles which makes me happy! That don't look like camera bags! (Which is a great security feature as well. The last thing you want to do while traveling is to look like you have thousands of dollars of camera equipment on you.)
What I love about these new JoTotes styles is that #1 - they are CUTE (especially the style with the rosette, my favorite), #2 - they are affordable. When you are considering what you are protecting in a camera bag, you definitely want something that is going to hold up and really protect your stuff. You want something that still has the padded dividers inside that you can detach and reattach to suit your needs. A camera bag is an investment and I think these are definitely a reasonable price. And #3, you can fit A LOT in these bags.
Yeh, you could always use just a regular bag, purse, etc, but like I said, you won't have these dividers that keep each lens, camera, etc. in it's own little "place" so they don't move around.
These bags come with 4 dividers that you can arrange.
April at JoTotes sent me this bag and I totally love it. And of course I love the color!
I was arranging my things inside and went to take a photo and I realized, my camera was IN the bag.. haha.. so I took a photo without my camera, but you can see where it goes. ;-)
I have a digital SLR and it fits very nicely in that open spot, with my camera strap connected and everything. You could fit even more into this bag than I did, it really is roomy. I have a small lens sitting in the area with the yarn that you can't see. There's a place for your cell phone inside (see it there?) and also a little pocket inside and a zippered area on the outside that you could keep your wallet in if your bag is too stuffed with camera equipment. Or you could keep your lens caps in there as you take photos. If you're like me, you lose lens caps all the time because you have no where to put them!
And guess what? You Blythe-Lovers out there will love this.
It's the PERFECT bag for carrying your Blythes! Do you go to Blythe-Meets a lot? This is the perfect bag to carry your girls in when you meet up with fellow Blythe-Lovers.
I fit 4 dolls in this bag and honestly, you could fit more. It would be tight, but you could definitely fit maybe 2 more in there. It would make for a snug ride, but hey, Blythes don't complain. ;-)
You would have to be careful with the zipper not to catch their hair in it. You could place a cloth of some sort on top of their heads to protect their hair from the zipper. Or you could always have them sit upside-down in the bag. I did that as well, but for photo purposes didn't take a photo of it, as it looked pretty funny with their feet sticking up in the air. ;-)
Be sure to check out JoTotes' new Facebook page so they can keep you up-to-date on promotions, specials and news.
Also, be sure to click through all of the new styles to get the low-down on all of the bag specs and to see all of the colors available.
Have a great weekend!

I have been looking for a cute camera bag! I love the yellow one with the rosette. It will keep my new camera equipment safe and look cute attached to the rear carrier of my bike!

i have a jotote bag, got the Noir one (i got it a few months ago so these new ones hadn't been released yet).
I have to agree they can fit so much in them. To protect my Lens i have a babys bottle carrier that fits the lenses in perfectly.

Love these bags, I need a camera bag but most are so bulky and unattractive. Who's the Blythe with the Pink hair? She's not a Dainty Biscuit is she?

i absolutely love these, thanks for posting them. It's especially great that there's an across-the-body strap as well. Do you know of any other people that make camera bags like these? All the ones I like seem to be sold out and I need one, quick!

Wow, these are gorgeous bags! I have just bought a second hand dslr and not gotten a bag for it yet, these are so, so pretty! Thanks for giving someone the opportunity to win one!

Oh how I have wanted one of these bags ever since I first saw them featured on your blog Danielle! I am not able to buy one because my partner David and I are saving our pennies so we can have a baby, so I am very grateful for this opportunity to win a JoTotes bag. It would be invaluable to me as it would allow me to carry my daily necessities and camera around in the one bag, allowing me to take more photos for my blog without worrying so much about my camera getting damaged. I could even fit some nappies, a bottle, burpcloth, and change of baby clothes in there too!
Thanks Danielle and JoTotes for the chance to win one of these pretty camera bags!
