My Blythes have it so good. :-)
I found the little vintage television at the most amaaazing vintage shop in Memphis while visiting, called Flashback. The furniture alone was to die for. Apparently, I used to visit this shop when we were in high school, my sister says, but I don't remember.
Ok, I'm getting old. ;-) (I turn 34 in two weeks...)If you live in Memphis, you MUST visit it!
And the television is actually a holder for salt and pepper shakers as you can see on the box it came in. :-) And apparently you can add a photo inside the TV screen? EEK. brilliant. It will get great use as a telly for the girls.
I am so in love with those little bear and bunny shoes I got for them. And what was even cuter is the little plastic box they came in. So cute and .... tiny.

Your Blythe world is amazing. That t.v. ROCKS. I want that just to have sitting on a nice little shelf in my house. It is adorable.
I heart mini things :)

your SO right!
mini = good
that TV is AMAZING!
the box is just as awesome as the actual TV!
i heart vintage packaging. . . maybe retailers today could take a cue and rethink their marketing angles. . . because i tell you what!
i would buy more today if the packaging wasn't SO LAME!
also. . . i have like 50 pairs of Blythe sized shoes. . . and NO clothes! tee hee!
but. . . Pace is SO sweet and got me some vintage Skipper patterns and a *NEW* sewing machine for Christmas. . . so. . . i should remedy that problem soon! ;)
now. . . to find the time. . . *sigh*
p.s. it would be SO fun to be Blythe and live in her world. . . the clothes alone! *geesh*!

Wow! Everything is so tiny and so wonderful. I've found your blog recently after finding a link for a tutorial you were offering. Can I just say amazing!!!
Could I ask you a question....I've been looking at the Blythe doll on several blogs and am trying to find the best source for my very own Blythe. I've found the Valley of the Dolls store but just want to make sure I'm finding the best sources. Any advice would be so very helpful.

HOLY COW!! I have that exact little plastic tv salt & pepper holder that I inherited from my grandma! Isn't it adorable?! Thankfully that lady kept EVERYTHING.

Flashback is a great shop -- I stopped by there over Christmas, hoping to find a mid-century secretary desk, but no luck. Last year that's where I snagged the turquoise pyrex bowls I had been looking for. I love stopping there whenever we are in Memphis visiting family.

LOL...been to Flashback many, many times. Got a chrome vintage breadbox there like 10 years ago that I still have! I used to work right near there at the Humane Society of Memphis and lived there in Midtown, down on Poplar Ave. Do you know where Burke's bookstore is (if it is still there)...there is an Indian restaurant across the street. I lived in that big ole apartment building right next door to the bookstore...Target House is on the other side.
We loved living in Midtown, but can't say I miss Memphis too much, though I loved Flashback and Finos Italian cafe!
