We had such an amazing time in Savannah and Tybee Island. We totally fell in love with the city, and we can't believe after living in Atlanta for 13 years, that we've never been. It's so close. I have so much to write about, but I have to get my butt to work. :-) So I'll leave you with these images for now. Some randoms from our trip! If you've emailed me over the past day or so, we had quite the storm yesterday that brought down a huge tree across the road in front of our house, and all of the power lines were down all over the road and going across our front lawn. We were able to sneek into the house from the back to keep away from the scary power lines. We didn't get power til 4:30 this morning. Luckily it wasn't TOO cold (although very cold for the middle of April! yeesh!) and definitely not too hot, so we faired ok last night. More to come.
The boys in Bonaventure Cemetery on Easter Sunday. Absolutely beautiful place.
The boys in front of an insanely cute window in downtown Savannah. Aren't they handsome? :-) I've got a story to tell about what happened after this shot.
The girls in their Sunday Best and a Belated message... (taken at the cemetery)
On the pier in Tybee Island. I loved this happy-accident-picture. I love how you see Campbell, and then your eye goes to Cooper in the background running to Ethan. It's like a visual triangle with the sun in the center!
Cam and I in Forsyth Park trying to get some photos with the camera timer while Ethan and Coop were on the playground. :-)
He caught on here. He put his hand on my hand and touched his head to my head. So sweet. That's a pretzel in his mouth.
We had stunning weather!! just amazing. A very welcomed changed from the horrible weather we've been having in Atlanta the past couple months: rain, rain, and more rain, and cold.
This expression kills me.
More pics of the girls under the pier at Tybee. Those food skewers come in handy for standing them up!
By the way, can someone call Hasbro and tell them that I deserve a commission for all of the women that I've converted into Blythe owners? I've had like 6 or 7 women email me and tell me that they've bought a Blythe because of me. I think i need a free doll out of this. ;-) Also, don't tell your husbands that I was the enabler.. i don't need angry men coming after me!
This one is my favorite. :-)
And a shot taken by Ethan holding the camera out... that is why his head looks 2 times bigger than ours'. ;-) This was at the beginning of the trip... just getting started.
More tomorrow! And guess what?!?!?! I met one of my blog readers in Savannah! She came up to me and introduced herself! How cool is that? She recognized Cooper. Her name is Vanessa from Miami (although Ethan said he thought she said Annessa)... please email me! I wanted to tell you something.... :-)
What a small world it is.

Oh what a lovely trip... and to get away from the rain! Your family pictures always excitement about starting a family of my own. So sweet. Love the new doll pics too! I sure wish I could get one but I think I have an idea that might settle the sad feeling for me. Gosh I can't wait to get a fancier camera for my b-day! I need to keep saving my pennies. Well have a fantastic day!
Hugs~

I LOVE Savannah...one of my favorite cities. It's about time for us to go back. It is a far piece for us though...more than 8 hours. We're thinking of going to Atlanta soon to see the dinosaurs at that museum I can't think of, lol. I'll have to email you and ask for suggestions on things to do for a seven and four year old!
