Embroidered Pillow Case
So I finally finished my grandmother's pillow case! Here is a photo of her with the boys and my sister, Shelly. Campbell is making a face i think only a mother could love. ;-) Lol! Cracks me up! I took the pillow case photos on one of the beds at my mom's house. The quilt on the bed doesn't totally go with the pillow case, but oh well. Lol! Needed a bed for photos. :-)
I went back through my blog posts and tried to answer all of the questions that were asked in the past few posts, and also caught up on my emails. If you asked a question in a comments section, check back there. So hopefully I've answered everyone's questions! :-)

This is so cute and classy! (I think I have this same Japanese embroidery book) I really love how you filled everything in - can't remember the stitch name, but I remember the directions for it. Seriously, this has really inspired me to stitch up some pillowcases...so cute!

Wow- that's incredible. I've done a lot of cross-stitching (before I found scrapping), but I wouldn't even know where to begin on something like this. I'm just in awe. Would love to try to tackle something like this this for my mom (first grandbaby due in Sept, sister's baby). :) If you ever have a chance to post anything on where to start, that would be amazing. What an brilliant gift!!

So I stumbled upon your blog this morning and ended up spending the last 2 hours here. I think I've got enough inspiration to last me for the next 6 month! But I'll be back way sooner than that.
Everything is really very lovely. :)

This pillow case is delicious! I love the little mushrooms.... and that deer... this whole thing is so adorable! You make me want to bust out all my embroidering thread. When my Grangma past... my mom gave me all her supplies. Infact, I'm now going to make something. Take a peek at my blog tomorrow ;) Thanks for the inspiration~H
